I don't really use wiki so i cbf to do anything to it but calling golden age of video game adaptations in 2018-present when most video game adaptations are a mess that deviate so far from the source material is a joke.

It is universally recognised mortal kombat 1995 is the best video game adaptation put to live action film and afaik there has not been a single good video game movie that follows the source material since then. Movies like say the live action RE franchise make money with non fans of the games because of the IP but the adaptations are far from the source material. The better adaptations are the anime versions. Goes the same with street fighter.

Essentially video game adaptations are hit and miss but it is far from correct that we are in a "golden age" of video game adaptations. More like we are in a recline.. 51.6.229.170 (talk) 13:58, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
