'Hit records' and 'Songs'[edit]

I do not understand these sections - should they not be merged, or better explained as to their differences ? Plus the chart placings need references.

In the absence of any comment in the intervening three and a bit years, I have deleted the 'Songs' section, which appears to be mainly duplication of the other better presented 'Hit records' section'. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 23:18, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Star Trek?[edit]

I'm not in a good position to fix this myself at the moment, but I'm puzzled why his recurring appearances on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine aren't mentioned under his Later Career, as it had to have been significant for his public profile during the 90s.David A Spitzley (talk) 02:22, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

James Darren played the holographic character Vic Fontaine, which was part of a holodeck simulation on Deep Space Nine set in 1960s Las Vegas. The name is similar to Vic Damone... --FeanorStar7 01:51, 13 February 2018 (UTC)

Poorly written[edit]

This article seems to me more like a resume than an encyclopedia article. I would tag it thus, but I'd rather draw potential editors' attention here. Zaslav (talk) 02:05, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You want to rewrite it? Go ahead.
