Death[edit]

The sections "Chernobyl disaster" and "Circumstances of death" seem to contain a lot of overlapping information in them. Should these be cleaned into one section only? Also, this article is directly contradicting itself. The disaster section says that he was found hang in his office and the death section says that he hang himself in his apartment. I imagine both of these cannot be true at the same time.--Hamuko (talk) 16:52, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

They can both be true if we assume he has a home office and I would assume he did.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.243.250.47 (talk) 03:29, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm wondering why the article needs this uncited factoid: "The loop was tied professionally and with the help of a special cable used by climbers.[citation needed]" Is it really that important to mention the professionalism of his suicide? It sounds like someone implying that he may have been murdered; I don't know why else they would include that detail about the loop. 2601:445:380:5D00:A00B:B431:C1FC:8B6D (talk) 08:16, 4 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disturbing report[edit]

"The report ran to 388 pages and was presented by Legasov to the conference in a 5-hour presentation, which many in the audience found disturbing.[26]"

What was disturbing? The length of the report was too long? Or too short? Legasov presenting it? The duration was too short? Or too long? — Preceding unsigned comment added by FredTheDeadHead (talkcontribs) 01:02, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
