Expert needed[edit]

Needs taxonomic review. ITIS is not a reliable source, and several of the taxa listed are apparently recognized now as subspecies or even species (according to Reptile Database). Dysmorodrepanis (talk) 15:43, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Technical terms[edit]

Someone knowledgeable about the subject needs to go through the "description" section and put wiki links on some of the more technical descriptions so that normal people can understand it too. I tried to help it out, but couldn't find information on some terms, such as: "contiguous scales", "obliquely truncate" "bicarinate", etc.Editfromwithout (talk) 19:30, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
