UPAA link?[edit]

I looked through the UPAA full text link provided and it is rather short and doesn't look complete. Is this all there is? I'd expect something a bit more lengthy. Also, where is this Act recorded? In the U.S.C.? Is it template legislation that needed to be adopted by participating states in their own family codes? This is unclear. Some more research might be helpful. --InsufficientData (talk) 14:23, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The last of your suggestions is correct. The Uniform Law Commission promulgated it and recommended it for adoption. A .pdf of the 'Final Act - with comments' as published by ULC can be found here. The version in Rhode Island, a state which has adopted it in full, can be found here. Chuffable (talk) 07:25, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Arkansas?[edit]

Arkansas is listed as both having adopted, and not adopted, the UPAA. Alaska is not listed in either. I suspect someone saw AK (Alaska) and confused it with Arkansas. Regardless, it's incorrect. Chuffable (talk) 07:21, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
