Clean up[edit]

I've done my best to clean up this article. I uploaded the image, added the ship table, and fleshed out the main article. (The original version was copied verbatim from the DANF.) I tried to add a bit more historical context, but there's still room for improvement. It might be worthwhile asking here for information - there doesn't seem to be a whole lot published on this ship. Any help is appreciated! Feezo (Talk) 08:53, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Still working on this article. I moved the DANF reference to the external links section, since the article no longer includes any DANF public domain text. Does anyone know how to make the ship table properly display status as fate? I figured setting the variable status=fate should do it, but it doesn't seem to have worked. The table is unlike all the other AKAs. It probably should be brought in line with them. It doesn't seem to handle decommissioning and recommissioning. Lou Sander 02:48, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DANFS[edit]

After seeing the comment about "no longer includes any DANF public domain text", I was a bit confused as this is very unusual for a USN ship article. The mystery only gets deeper. The original article was based not on DANFS, but on the short history in the NHC photo library. Then I find that the link is to Bellatrix II, which is a different ship. Finally, the real DANFS article for this ship is much more detailed than this article and probably ought to be imported. --J Clear 00:57, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good find. That wasn't online when I wrote this article. Feezo (Talk) 01:03, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think they're updating the "lost B ships" volume. At least that article was updated this year. Have to check if I wrote up any "B" Haskell-class ships yet. --J Clear 03:34, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
