Unit cost and number in service[edit]

This entry cites David Axe's article on Wired for unit price and number in service. Where did David Axe get the $40 million unit cost estimate?

QW Class Surface to Air Missile[edit]

I think the following link from Youtube might be of a Houbei class boat*; would it be possible/legal to add the link to the main article and/or take a photo snippet from the film and upload it as an image of the class?

The pennant number "2208" is pretty clear on the side of the boat, which is consistent with the main article.

Article Move[edit]

Houbei is the NATO designation of the class. The article should be 'Type 022 missile boat' as other classes of Chinese naval vessels use the indigenous designation rather than the NATO designation. Semi-Lobster (talk) 13:07, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Capabilities[edit]

I've changed "historically small missile boats have fared poorly in major naval confrontations against submarines and aircraft" to "larger vessels and aircraft", which is what the Wired article it references actually says. The article speculates that Type 022s would be vulnerable to US SSNs, but to date no missile boat has been destroyed by a submarine. 82.11.64.250 (talk) 18:52, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
