Article name[edit]

Given that Twinkle Stars in English is printed as the series subtitle in the magazine serialization, and Delcourt at least has taken that to be the official title (yes, the French edition has an English title, of all things), can we take that to be the official title and move the article? —Quasirandom (talk) 22:32, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Aren't we supposed to be using the title that has garnered the most attention in the English speaking world? Seeing as how this series has yet to be licensed in English, I don't think an English subtitle is good enough, especially when you consider that if you were going to use the full title, the series article would be Hoshi wa Utau: Twinkle Stars.--十八 05:03, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Point. Though the tankobons don't include the subtitle, so that's not a clear solution. I do think we need to acknowledge the secondary title in the article, though -- possibly as an "also known as" in the lead. —Quasirandom (talk) 14:36, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reception info[edit]

From what I can tell, no one reviews a manga unless it gets licensed (in English). :P But at least this one seems to be more popular, especially considering it's by Takaya. It's only a matter of time before it gets licensed (in English) anyway, if the popularity of Fruits Basket is any indication.--十八 04:14, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The speculation on the T-pop boards is that they're waiting on the sales figures on Tsubasa: Those with Wings before deciding to license this one. But actually, there's a lot of manga reviewage in French -- which makes some sense, given France is the biggest western consumer of manga after North America.
