The story also suffers from a flawed premise -- that after pleading guilty to two aggravated murders, Longo might be able to go free or get off lightly if not convicted of the other two murders. In fact, he would still face a possible death sentence for the two aggravated murders he pled guilty to, and would face a minimum of two life sentences for those murders.^[1]
