Having both of these signs together on this page is a good idea, as it help to clear ambiguity fast. As a medical student, I find it very useful to have both signs on a single page. Otherwise I will be looking all over why someone say trousseau signs is due to hypocalcemia while the others say it is migratory thrombophlebitis.   I am a friend to a 38 year old woman who was diagnosed with MS 4 years ago. She has since had many issues that have been unexplaned. We have been doing research on our own to try to come up with some answers. The doctors in our area throw their hands up in the air and say"Deal with it". We have a few things that lead us to Trousseau's. .....Phlebitis with I.V.s lymphatonopathy,hypocalcemia, hypercoagulable state, thick viceral tissue, extra boney growth in her mouth, increased weight loss, endometreosis.
