Should be added Sumatra
Correct picture (and/or species name)?[edit]
The pic seems to be http://www.deadlybeautiful.com/Snakes/Crotalinae/Cryptolytrops-insularis/DSC04866/88890094_eT83W-O.jpg, which is described as "Cryptelytrops insularis". Is this a consequence of everything long, green, asian and arboreal having been named "Trimeresurus" at some time in the past (i.e. the wikipedia entry name is outdated), or are these different species? --Ralf Muschall (talk) 00:09, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Type locality[edit]
'The type locality given is "."[1]'. Did the Authors of [1] (inaccessible to me) make a joke, or is someting broken here? --Ralf Muschall (talk) 15:28, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
Is possible to add Sumatra?[edit]
This snake can be found in Sumatra too Tigre-samolaco (talk) 07:21, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
- Do you have a reliable source to support this addition? Neither IUCN or the Reptile Database include Sumatra in the range of this species. I guess that Sumatran snakes represent some related species, such as Trimeresurus sumatranus? Micromesistius (talk) 11:21, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
