Pro Bowl selection[edit]

Trevor Siemian was a Pro Bowl selection in the 2016 Pro Bowl. This fact is often listed in the "Career highlights" section of a player's profile. However, some editors keep removing it.

Yes, Siemian did not attend the Pro Bowl due to injury, but that does not disqualify his invitation. It should still be listed on the profile. See players like Tom Brady or Rob Gronkowski for NFL players who have not attended the Pro Bowl in certain years but still have their invitations listed on their profile.

Siemian was indeed invited, however he was invited as an alternate. Pro Bowl alternates are only considered Pro Bowlers if they accept their invitation. He's not listed as a Pro Bowler on Pro-Football-Reference. Lizard (talk) 15:57, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
