Notes[edit]

Travel Trade Gazette is a long-established and well-respected UK business-to-business weekly publication. It covers an industry that is, arguably, the biggest in the world: travel and tourism.

Its current campaign (June-July 2007), to cut passenger queues at airports, has received the backing of The Sun newspaper and has helped persuade the new tourism minister, Margaret Hodge, to launch a study into the issue.

TTG also hosts the TTG Awards, an annual event that has been hosted by celebrities such as Jonathan Ross, Joanna Lumley and Graham Norton, and attended by up to 1,500 guests.

This proposed entry is no different from that for many other business-to-business publications already listed on Wikipedia, including TTG's main rival, Travel Weekly, and others such as Flight International, Press Gazette, Building magazine and PR Week.

I confirm I am the author of this entry, for Travel Trade Gazette.

I object to the proposed deletion of this article. I have added two footnotes to substantiate the notability of this article. If this is still insufficient, I would welcome further advice. Thanks. Mikejwalsh 23:20, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Have taken it upon myself to remove the "proposed deletion" box too! But I'm still unclear why the box saying "article uncategorized" remains when I have coded up two categories. Comments, anyone? Mikejwalsh 23:40, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest you drop by and let us know why you think this article should be kept and why it is notable. As far as I am concerned, the article has a chance of staying but it still needs some work. -- Ishikawa Minoru 02:08, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I updated the links for the "relaunch" of TTG knowledge college with online travel training -- 82.110.177.146 16:48, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
