Tap-tap cabs. Meggar 03:12, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I was working for Tropical Airways and they provided a private driver. db 09:50pm, 21 November 2006 (EST)

I really like the work on the railroads section, but as it dominates the article I think it should be split off as Railways of Haiti with a link. Tubezone 02:55, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've been working on the railroads section for past two weeks now while I'm doing (non-wikipedia) research from it, but I'm also adding text to the other tranportation sections anytime something useful comes up. Also I'm not very familiar with wikipedia and would like someone more professional to do the split to make it correctly. I agree with Tubezone, it dominates for now and should be splitted. db 07:35am, 23 November 2006 (EST)

Agree, but the sentence now, that the reason for the railroads to not be functioning is "due to other forms of transportation that have become available", is very unbelievable and doesn't fit an encyclopedia. No other country (or almost no other country), had abandoned railroads due to this reason. Probably, it's an example of a process of the destruction of certain aspects in the country. 85.178.86.217 (talk) 22:40, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
