Progress Chart[edit]

If I understand the format correctly, the chefs are going to compete in brackets (i.e., the first six episodes will feature four chefs each (see here)). I don't think a matrix-style progress chart is going to be appropriate for this show. The NCAA Tournament articles (e.g., 2009 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament) seem to have templates that might be of use. Clconway (talk) 21:55, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Another basis for comparison might be the season articles for So You Think You Can Dance, where the first half of the season winnows the field down from 200 to 20 contestants and a matrix-style progress chart is only used for "The Finals". Clconway (talk) 16:53, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and chopped the table down to just the last four episodes. The first six episodes can be dealt with separately. Otherwise, more than half the table is going to be noise (entries for chefs who aren't competing). Clconway (talk) 18:20, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episodes[edit]

Are we going to have episode summaries. I have set up the start for Episode 1. 98.17.118.179 (talk) 19:21, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episode 11[edit]

An anonymous editor added an 11th episode to the Finals chart. The sources cited say the show will have only 10 episodes. Has there been an announcement extending the season? Clconway (talk) 17:57, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Star Totals[edit]

A combination of innocent mistakes and apparent vandalism make me wonder if having the star totals in the article is really a good idea? They are very easy to get wrong and very difficult to verify (e.g., they're not listed on the official show site AFAICT). Clconway (talk) 18:48, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

They are needed I believe to complete the article. May I suggest this site [1] as verification. crazzycorbe (talk) 06:01, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Chicagoist has excellent show summaries and I'm using them as refs for the Star Totals in the chart. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bigvinu (talkcontribs) 00:39, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Instance of More than One Season[edit]

If there is another season, we should consider making the home Top Chef Master page into a familiar layout to that of the Top Chef page. Christianity922 (talk) 18:05, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can we please add the star totals for episode 7. I have already added Art's & Suzanne's? 174.97.22.109 (talk) 03:21, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tables[edit]

Why were the tables put in and changed, exactly? The previous versions were perfectly fine, I think. --fuzzy510 (talk) 20:06, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
