His name being Tolken is was a joke, his name was and is actually Token Black, as in the Token black character. 2600:8800:2221:F500:ACB1:A65B:7AAA:C48C (talk) 10:58, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
At the very least it should be mentioned in the article that his name was Token until “The Big Fix”. Imagine offline (talk) 04:27, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
People like you are why folks rip on Wikipedia as a reliable source. 207.29.239.49 (talk) 04:13, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It’s a retcon, of course: His name was shown spelled "Token" at least once (girls' club meetings, making ranking lists of all the boys, cannot remember what episode that was). Tuvalkin (talk) 19:21, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The idea that this is a true “retcon” is absurd. The character refers to himself as Token in the episode where he makes a reality TV show about morbidly obese Cartman and his new Rascal scooter. His show “Fatty Poo Poo” is clearly stated to be a “Token Black Production”. I think the entire “retcon” is simply Matt and Trey taking yet another clever shot at wokeism. 2603:6080:4D00:D4:58DD:D9E3:25B2:4EEB (talk) 03:27, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
