There was a bit of a drastic change on this page, I revertd back - as I'm not sure why the change was made — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dondoolee (talkcontribs) 01:19, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The page was completely uncited and full of misinformation: that's why the drastic change was made. I'm about to undo your edit since it removed cited material and restored nonsense. — cardiff | chestnut — 03:43, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

makes sense now. I think we should try to find a way to format his life / this page at least somewhat along the lines of the previous edit -as I think it makes it look nicer and he is a character who I think is capable of being divided into subsections. I think we can do without the "Tlepolemus love's" section - as I don't think he was renouned as being a man in that regard - but he can be divided into sections to call attention to him as a part of Heraclidian / Rhodisian / and Trojan myth — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dondoolee (talkcontribs) 05:48, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

One of the issues with the Rhodian myth is that it was mostly a modern fiction that had little basis in Greco-Roman literature. There is also the bit about Tlepolemus' role in the Mysian debacle that doesn't jibe with the only source that I've been able to find, but I'll keep looking. I'll try to flesh out the Trojan content so that at least two sections can be sustained in a reasonably readable, and factual, manner. (I should point out that none of the material added to this article by Dondoolee has been imaginary: these bits all came through an IP and one long-dormant user.) — cardiff | chestnut — 05:14, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
