Elevation Data[edit]
I have changed the previous elevation data for this airstrip. I have to admit that the basis for this is original research. While writing this, I'm sitting in a room right next to the old airstrip, and I went out and took a GPS reading. I usually hesitate to submit OR info, but here the difference between the old info and reality is almost 1000 m. This confirms also the information that Google Earth provides for the south-eastern end of the Airstrip. Towards the other end it actually increases in elevation. The source that was given previously on elevation is no longer accessible. As the strip is now dysfunctional, its data will probably never be updated in any of the current databases on airports and airstrips. Landroving Linguist (talk) 16:27, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
