There's nothing in the Official Rules of Baseball that describes specifically when "time of pitch" is. Can someone provide a source confirming that what is in the article is correct? Andy Saunders 21:39, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is explained in many authoritative rules interpretation guides. The most "official" one is the Jaksa/Roder manual available here. It is also in NFHS Rule 2-28. Locarno 17:52, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure how this should be handled but "Pitching Position" has a much better explanation of "Time of Pitch". Perhaps "Time of Pitch" should simply redirect there. This seems to me the best solution particularly if Time of Pitch isn't really technicaly defined by the rules of baseball as an independent concept.

Better to copy the relevant data here. The two articles aren't directly related. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by PSzalapski (talkcontribs) 21:27, 2 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]
