Title of First Wife[edit]
I have altered the titling of his first wife from "Lady Elizabeth Essex" to "Elizabeth, dowager Countess of Essex" as being correct mode of address before their marriage. The title as originally given in the article would have only been correct for a knight's widow or the daughter of a peer (neither of which she was).Cloptonson (talk) 09:51, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
