Seemingly some confusion in the chronology, which states his death was discovered in July 1700, but his will was proved on june 28 1700. Also, it seems to say Thomas Hobson was short of money, but presumably means Creech was. Seadowns (talk) 10:00, 4 August 2017 (UTC), w It might be worth adding something about the quality of his work. He could turn out some excellent couplets. Pope told Spence that he had harmed his Lucretius by putting in "turns", and had done better by Manilius. Pope also mined his Manilius. I can't do the work myself, I am afraid.
