Untitled[edit]

I had a quick look at the spelling "Rolf Boldrewood" versus "Rolf Bolderwood" - Wikipedia and Britannica prefer the first, universities and Australian libraries etc. prefer the second. Does anyone own a copy of his novels at all to have a first-hand check? I seem to recall "Bolderwood" from my school days. Lou 23:47, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Browne v. Browne[edit]

The editor of the Gulgong Guardian which published the libel was Thomas Frederick de Courcy Browne, a Dublin man, and no relation of Thomas Alexander 'Boldrewood' Browne, though newspaper obits of both men continually confused them. de Courcy Browne is alleged by old Gulgong timers to have succeeded 'Boldrewood' Browne as Commissioner. Not so. 59.167.234.198 (talk) 01:29, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
