WP:BRD is how I would handle this situation. The IP editor has made bold edits that you disagree with, so you can revert those edits and invite the IP editor to discuss the situation here on this talk page. Sario528 (talk) 19:08, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

Good morning

I was surprised and appreciative to find that someone had kindly written a Wikipedia page for me. Thank you. I did, however, notice a few inaccuracies that I would like to be corrected please:

1. In the biography, it says I spoke about "growing up in poverty", which isn't technically accurate. In the article referenced, I do mention when I realised we were "poor" (financially/low income household) and although I do speak about "poverty", I specifically talk about it as an imposed and misrepresented "label". The focus here was intended to be on the joys and privilege of "community". I feel this sentence, as is, greatly misrepresents my message. [1] 2. In the playwriting section: "The Race Card" and "Visiting Hours" are referred to as "plays", which isn't the case. I can see how in the cited source it may have appeared that way, but they were writing group/youth theatre scenes/projects. Can this be deleted please and also be removed from the "plays" section, for accuracy sake? 3. In the playwriting section, it says "Girls" came about as a result of the ch4 playwriting scheme, but as stated in the article referenced, Girls was written before the scheme. The award was received for Girls. Is it possible to have this corrected please? [2] 4. In the Awards section, the Channel 4 Playwriting Scheme is listed as "BBC 4" playwriting scheme, can this be amended please? [3]

Thank you for your help

Theresa

Done Is the "growing up in poverty" section now more reflective of your thoughts? Alduin2000 (talk) 16:43, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
