Expansion[edit]

This is more of a note to myself, but I want to expand the article to deal with the legal troubles that his wife Anna went through when it came to Bland's property after his death. Apparently a family member appropriated lands that rightfully belonged to Bland (and thus his widow/sons) and she had to fight to get them back, especially after the family member was executed for treason. I don't know that she would merit an article (although I'll check) but this would at least be worth mentioning here, I think. Tokyogirl79LVA (talk) 14:48, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
