Thegotics[edit]

I think this field of odontology should use the discipline of tribology to fine tune the diagnosis of the phenomenon. One of the challenges is that thegotic action is an abrasive process where the source of the sharpening slurry is saliva and the hydroxy-apatite crystals, an endogenous source. In contrast, exogenous particles are responsible for enamel wear tooth wear, often mimicking thegotic striations. Kevin Scallywag (talk) 02:33, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
