Contested deletion[edit]

I think an organisation with over 5000 members woldwide and over 20 different companies sponsoring them (Examples include Haas Automation and Iscar to name just two of them) frankly is notable, and the page was last deleted in 2006. The Group has grown considerably since then. Osarius : T : C : Been CSD'd? 09:25, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Self Promotion[edit]

It seems pretty clear that this page was created by the organization for self promotion, and its questionable the organizations notability. One of the major contributers has ties to the group and can be verified by the comment on his edit stating he did the actions at the request of the director of the organization "made the changes that chris boden requested" in edit by Nicpal775 11 Jan 2013

In which case we deal with that particular editor, and clean up the page afterwards. As the original author of the article, I can 100% assure you that the creation of the article was not at the request of the organization or anyone involved. I'm going to have to agree... this article is written very much like a public relations pamphlet, and if the allegations of "made the changes that chris boden requested". I'm also very concerned looking through the history of the article that staff or volunteers for the organization are actively maintaining this article. The following edits are of particular concern. Due to these concerns I'm going to go ahead and flag this as self published to bring some extra eyes to this.

Big rewrite needed[edit]

Very selfpromo-y. Doesn't say exactly why they shut down, or any bad things. Seems sus. Would do rewrite, but I'm just a new WP editor. I don't quite have the skills to fix THIS mess.
