Editing Needed[edit]

This article could use some judicious editing. Sentences like "Alicia is capable of emotions, memory and has a lifespan comparable to a human" are non-grammatical and should really be cleaned up so that the page doesn't read like a teenager wrote it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.184.74.7 (talk) 04:39, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I think that's an exact quote from the dialogue. - kosboot (talk) 15:35, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

216.244.12.76 I need to talk to you[edit]

Hi, I am an administrator, Xinyu, and I got a report from ProfesorPaul, about how you've been, "vandalizing" EVERY SINGLE EPISODE OF The Twilight Zone. Discuss your intentions, what you have editted, fixed up, and under what pretext you have for doing so. I need you to tell me all the information you can get, and I promise both you and ProfessorPaul, this problem would be negotiable, once the facts has been laid bare, and then I'll see that NPOV, justice, and peace would be restored on this article. Thank you, please reply on my user TALK page. Thank you. --Lord X 01:36, 20 June 2006 (UTC)User:Xinyu[reply]

Wasn't this this first episode produced?[edit]

I think I read somewhere that this was the first "regular" (i.e. non-pilot) episode of the series to be produced. Can anyone confirm this? It should be mentioned in the article if this is true. 23skidoo 07:47, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation of 'robot'?[edit]

Was /ˈɹoʊbət/ a common U.S. pronunciation of 'robot' in 1950s ... or was this somehow idiosyncratic to the episode? It sounds hilariously odd to a modern listener.

The Lonely (The Twilight Zone)The LonelyWP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "The Lonely" given both long term significance and an overwhelming lead in page views over articles of the same title. Ribbet32 (talk) 01:50, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. Textbook PRIMARYTOPIC case per nom. —В²C 06:23, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • No great value with such a generic title (The Twilight Zone) which is the normal format of the articles in this category will only help readers find a 1959 TV episode. The two song articles are not greatly significant, and so this is "The Lonely", but (The Twilight Zone) is doing no harm whatsoever. In ictu oculi (talk) 13:26, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support as the clear primary topic. "The Lonely" does not appear to be a particularly generic title name, with just a few subjects that could possibly be at that title, one with a clear dominance in both use and long term significance.--Yaksar (let's chat) 19:46, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

The Infobox has the same cast as "Escape Clause," the previous episode. Please fix it. Wastrel Way (talk) Eric

OK, I fixed it myself. I couldn't remember the names of the characters so I got them from imdb, I hope nobody minds. Wastrel Way (talk) Eric
