Very little of HZ's score[edit]

I have removed the following from the page;

"The soundtrack contained very little of Hans Zimmer's instrumental score. The tracks included were pieced together from various parts of the film and therefore not entirely representative of the scenes linked to them."

This is because, like most soundtrack CDs, it only contains a small amount of the instrumental score that is produced in the movie. If someone decides that this is infact noteworthy, feel free to re-add the text. Mankind 2k 16:06, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone want to fetch some info?[edit]

I'm not sure of this, but According to Pop-up video, Rick astley did sing backup on the soundtrack. I'm serious here. Again, I'm not sure because it was only mentioned on pop-up video (from a YT video), so if anyone would like to spend some time fetching info on this, I'd be happy. Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:The Lion King (1994 soundtrack)/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

The article contains a decent explanation and history of the the actual Lion King Soundtrack. However, some of the links between the actual songs are missing, such as "I Just Can't Wait to be King" (now fixed), and "Be Prepared." Be Prepared automatically directs to the article "Be Prepared (Scout Motto)" instead of "Be Prepared (The Lion King Song)"

Some of the other instrumental songs do not have their own page (and even still, they aren't technically instrumentals).

Searching "The Lion King Soundtrack" does not bring up this page, either.

Spotting[edit]

The 1993 workprint for The Lion King was leaked, and now it’s on Internet Archive for preservation. Much of the music as shown in the draft was spotted (constructed from pre-existing music as a reference). Two questions: Does anybody know where I can find all of it? Should this be included in the page? 98.216.67.148 (talk) 02:52, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
