A lot of original research?[edit]

Claims that this is a rip-off to cash in on Land of the Lost, and repeated mentions of this being a feature of other Asylum films seems to be entirely original research. I also don’t see the relevance of talking about the 1975 film being at the same time as the “succes”s of the TV series Land of the Lost - the 1975 movie was a British picture, and the TV series wasn’t a hit in the U.K. (I can’t vouch for the U.S.), and surely it’s a tenuous link to relate that to this movie. It’s also inaccurate to say that this movie is a re-make of the 1975 Amicus film - they are simply movies made from a common source. Jock123 (talk) 16:07, 17 January 2013 (UTC) It might be inaccurate to say that this is a remake, since it is just a new adaptation of the same novel. But it is refering to Land of the Lost, the 2009-movie with Will Ferrell (loosely based on the TV shows), that was released at the same time. Asylum often releases their movies at the same time when a big budget movie is released to capitalize on it, no matter, if it is a success or not. 2003:E4:BF0A:A72F:28F5:6186:10C3:ED7C (talk) 21:39, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
