Untitled[edit]

To say that Davis is quietly disposed of masks the horror of what is done: a completely innocent man is poisoned and then cremated without an inquest. Also, Daintry as head of security is senior to Castle but is not his boss. The Lawless One (talk) 13:28, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Should this not be rewritten?

  • willing to do what is more than required for both Davis

ought this not be

  • willing to do more than what is required for both Davis

plot parallels[edit]

If the movie is true to the book of the same name, it seems that Graham Greene's 1978 novel The Human Factor has a similar plot device - the 'turning' of an agent in the intelligence community. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ndywiki2015 (talkcontribs) 17:17, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result was: The Human Factor is moved to The Human Factor (Graham Greene book); The Human Factor (disambiguation) is moved to The Human Factor; The Human Factor (book) is moved to The Human Factor: Revolutionizing the Way People Live with Technology. bd2412 T 19:28, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

– While Graham Greene was a major author, not every one of his books has an immediate claim to be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. There are a number of other entries at the disambiguation page, including two other books bearing this title, one of which is currently under the header The Human Factor (book), as well as Otto Preminger's 1979 film version of the Greene novel. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 16:29, 27 August 2017 (UTC)--Relisting.usernamekiran(talk) 20:09, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose first two [now neutral], restore third to full title The Human Factor: Revolutionizing the Way People Live with Technology. The Greene book is the only encyclopaedic book topic of that name. This is a problem created by an undiscussed move of the Vicente book, if it is even notable. • Support. WP:PTOPIC requires it to be much more likely than any other topic, and more likely than all the other topics combined, to be the topic sought when a reader searches for that term. and I just don't see it in 90-days pageviews (http://tinyurl.com/y8heqs7b):
The Human Factor Start 4,303 47 4 3 4,661
The Human Factor (1979 film) Start 3,469 38 5 3 5,771
The Human Factor (album) Stub 3,374 37 0 0 4,186
The Human Factor (TV series) 472 5 0 0 1,635
The Human Factor (book) Stub 258 3 2 2 2,490
The Human Factor (1975 film) 162 2 0 0 61
The Human Factor (song) Stub 46 1 0 0 2,084

I grant that the 1979 film is based on the book, but they are nonetheless different topics, and a dab page as proposed would be a policy-based solution. No such user (talk) 09:09, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Well if we do it, then it should be to (novel) and The Human Factor: Revolutionizing the Way People Live with Technology In ictu oculi (talk) 11:25, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm fine with that. No such user (talk) 13:26, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
