Article title

Before I propose a move discussion - has there been any recent discussion/consensus about changing the title to "Holocaust in Poland"? Seraphim System (talk) 23:06, 5 July 2018 (UTC)

I checked three articles randomly (Estonia, Norway, Ukraine) and they all have "the" in the name: The Holocaust in Ukraine. So this article's name seems to be following a convention of some sort. --K.e.coffman (talk) 02:22, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
Starting with The Holocaust, I think you'll find that all Wikipedia articles—and probably most scholarly writing—use the definite article before "Holocaust", just as they use a capital H. The name should be left as is, per WP:THE. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:51, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
OK, if it's a lot of articles it would probably require a broader discussion — per WP:THE it seems it should not be included On the contrary, United States does not include the article "The", because sentences such as "California is part of the United States" are written with a lowercase "the". but there does seem to be a naming convention across multiple articles. It's not a big deal, I hadn't even noticed it until I tried running it through WPCLEANER.Seraphim System (talk) 08:33, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
Interesting point. Might be worth bringing up in a broader forum. Nihil novi (talk) 09:58, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

Shouldn't it be mentioned?Xx236 (talk) 09:54, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
