Who is Mal?[edit]

In par. 4 of "Plot," it is said that 'he and Mal are still vile towards Falk.' Who is Mal? It appears that he abused and killed the murdered girl Ellie, so we need to know who he is.

Book better than mobie[edit]

Having just read the book, I think the movie was lacking. It was made during a quick time of co-vid. Jane Harper a great easy read novelist but doesn't translate to a good movie. Eric Bana did his best but it fell short of a good movie. Great to see Australian actors and scenery.
