Untitled[edit]

I created this article a few days ago and have just added several sections. Simon Clarke (talk) 12:28, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plot[edit]

The plot summary was written by me and Lauri Shore. We debated how brief it should be and for entertainment purposes here are briefer plot summaries that we decided against: "girl dying. boy angst. flashback: boy meets girl. girl likes. boy rejects. boy changes mind. boy goes to war. girl intervenes. they break up. boy joins resistance. girl joins resistance. they make up. she dies."

"Jean, who takes himself too seriously, chased by Helene, who takes herself not seriously enough. Jean rejects Helene, then accepts, then rejects. Helene matures, Jean mellows. They get together again. Helene dies. Jean carries on."

And the ultimate in brevity: 'boy angst. girl dies.' Simon Clarke (talk) 12:28, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How about "While a girl is dying, a boy who eventually returned her affections tries to rationalise using his own freedom to take away the freedom of others in the name of freedom"? 203.217.150.69 (talk) 05:41, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Critical Reception[edit]

Another gem of Lauri's that I haven't included in the article: "Read 1st chapter of Blood of Others. Brain matter cleft asunder by the language, leaving me absent from myself. Will persist 'though the self torture of doing so may lead to revolution or suicide. After all, the other choice is guilt." (Txt message June '09) Simon Clarke (talk) 12:28, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
