I will use this page to object to the proposed deletion of this article. The Thames Valley League is one of the key recreational sports leagues in the Home Counties, which in my opinion justifies it a position on that alone. Additionally, division 1 is the third highest league a club cricket side can play at in England, and the third tier of other sports all have articles about them.

As for it being unsourced, I am sure it is reasonably clear that I am a relative novice to creating pages, and so I did not realise at first that they had to be provided. I have provided some external links to prove the validity of the information, though much of the detailed figures are within the hard copy league handbook, and I will be more than happy to send a copy to any body interested for reference when the 2011 edition is distributed in April

External links are to the league's own web pages, and the handbook could be used as a reference but is also published by the league (or on behalf of it), so would not be evidence of notability. Independent references are needed. Peter E. James (talk) 22:21, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
