Maradona trivia[edit]

I'm removing this again. The friendly has passed, which is likely to result in the issue never being raised again. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 12:20, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First name[edit]

Although "Terry" is usually short for "Terence", his own autobiography gives his full name as Terry. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 18:33, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well there's no online edition so I can't see it. Terence is sourced from Hugman which I believe gets the names from the official registrations documents. Of course that could have been filled out incorrectly by someone at Ipswich or wherever. Crowsus (talk) 22:21, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You don't need an online version. I have the paper version on my desk. The point is that it's not a done deal, and one imagines if his autobio says Terry, it's probably Terry. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 22:24, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bleeding[edit]

Shoudn't it be mentioned when he was bleeding profusely during a match in 1989 but he insisted on playing? One of his most memorable games 67.70.57.71 (talk) 05:16, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to include that material, this is Wikipedia and you can edit the article. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 20:08, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is mentioned - a whole paragraph of the international career section. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 11:22, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
