Behind the Blow[edit]

The show actually begins with Kyle, Stan, Keeny and Cartman watching Behind the Blow, the Punky Brewster epsidoe. They may mean the actor who played her Soleil Moon Frye.

One of the jokes in the Terrance and Phillip show has Phillip's stand-in ask "Who passed gas?", a reference to the Abbott and Costello skit "Who's on First?"
Cartman tells Phillip that he'll make him eat his parents. This is a reference to the previously aired episode, "Scott Tenorman Must Die".
Behind the Blow is a parody of the VH1 documentary series Behind the Music.
The "Behind the Blow" documentary makes references to both "Terrance and Phillip in Not Without My Anus" and South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.
The Behind the Blow documentary states that eight million people lost their lives in the war between the United States and Canada; however, this appears to be a continuity error, since all of those people should have been revived at the end of South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut. The statement may have been referring to the pre-revival death toll.
The subject of the Behind the Blow the boys watch at the beginning of the episode before Terrence and Philip is Punky Brewster.
Terrance remains over weight in his later appearance in the episode Cartoon Wars Part II, however it is notable that he lost a significant amount of weight.
Phillip leaving the popular show to pursue Canadian Shakespeare is a reference to Paul Gross; who left Due South. Canada's most successful TV show also to pursue a career in stage and personal projects.

Song Lyrics[edit]

The lyrics to the real fast song they sing are: "Chicken and ham, chicken and ham. Step to the left and clap your hands." They repeat it a couple of times.
