This google book suggests that the architect was David Stephenson of Newcastle.

No copyvios detected and duplication detector check of online sources[1][2][3] reveal no close paraphrasing issues (allowing for WP:LIMITED and direct quotes; AGF books and offline refs which can't go through Dup detector). Article is well-sourced. Hook is 188 characters long (under 200 character max.) and is interesting. Ref 4 (verifying the hook) is a reliable source. QPQ done.
