Yugoslavia clarification[edit]
I can't seem to find clarification of what Kew specifically meant when it said that Telekia speciosa is native to Yugoslavia. The country no longer exists and has broken up into many smaller countries. I have however found information suggesting the species is native to North Macedonia. Uroleucon telekiae has been recorded as native to North Macedonia. The aphid species Uroleucon telekiae feeds exclusively on Telekia speciosa suggesting that both species are present and native to North Macedonia.
