Information on Nordisk eTax to be added?[edit]

Perhaps information on Nordisk eTax and a link there, as well as a page on the organisation itself, should be added? Nordisk eTax has relevant information if one is a resident in a Nordic country and have income or assets in another Nordic country. Nordisk eTax has been developed as a result of collaboration between the Nordic Council of Ministers and the tax administrations of Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Iceland. These tax administrations are jointly responsible for the contents.

Since I have a COI I can't post this information, however, it seems like it could be relevant information for someone looking for more in-depth information. SKV International1 (talk) 11:01, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

I still find this a bit confusing. The example was supposed to illustrate the theory but it further adds to the confusion by introducing the number 100 for both the employers and employees, without explaining the link. Could anyone describe the tax breakdown in a "for dummies" style, please? :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.19.182.120 (talk) 05:09, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I think what the original author was trying to show was that the total salary cost is roughly 1.314 of the employees gross salary, since employer contributions (also a part of the salary cost for the employer) are paid on top of the gross salary. If I owe you 100 in salary, I will deduct income tax from it and you will receive roughly 70 (at 30% taxation, could be higher). I will have paid 131 as an employer. Hope this clarifies SKV International1 (talk) 11:05, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well done![edit]

I know nothing about taxes in Sweden, just wanted to say that the article has been transformed for the better starting on Nov 17, 2011. It is still unclear to me, however, whether residents of Sweden can file tax returns like residents of the USA and Canada, or whether all taxes are deducted at source without recourse? "The sentence above is incorrect."[edit]

What kind of editing is this?

Can someone with actual knowledge of the Swedish tax system fix this low quality editing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2407:7000:9D29:8B44:E0B0:37C8:C8A7:AEC9 (talk) 04:25, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the comment and rewrote the section. It wasn't clear on the difference between total tax and marginal tax and I tried to fix that. Sjö (talk) 07:44, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
