Introduction[edit]

Please develop this page as much as possible by inserting more photos and updating info like no. & name of trains/platforms/counters/facilities etc.

Thanks to awant bhagwat for ur edits.it took me a lot of time to develop this page and inadvertently errors crept in.Thanks for the first edits.

Infobox[edit]

As I have edited the article on 17:02, 23 May 2010 (UTC), replacing the Infobox 'Station' with Infobox Indian 'Railway Station', I found the edit to be reverted. In my view, if the contributer is able to satisfy all the sections of the Template:Infobox Station, then it can be added. But I see that infobox here is doesn't do so. For example, it is not asked if the station electrified or not, but asked:when it was electrified. So, I think that it's rather better to have Infobox Indian Railway Station than of having the Infobox station, in the article. --Sharadbob^Talk_C 10:06, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

The article Tatanagar also has the details of railway station and it uses the Indian jurisdiction infobox. I don't think Tatanagar is a town in Jharkhand or even a locality of Jamshedpur. It is just the name of the station in Jugsalai. So I think the merge of articles is req. with redirect. Thank You.-- WorLD8115 (TalK) 14:25, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

yeah , that is correct. Tatanagar is only the name of the railway station of Jamshedpur and nothing else. It is not a name of locality in Jamshedpur/ previous name of jamshedpur.Hence any refernce to Tatanagar directly refers to the railway station hence the page Tatanagar should be merged with Tatanagar Railway Station.-- devx101 [TALK] 15:02, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Text and/or other creative content from Tatanagar was copied or moved into Tatanagar Railway Station with [permanent diff this edit]. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

Why are the pictures being deleted ?[edit]
