Notable? & references[edit]

I have added some references and material. It seems to me the swami is notable enough, as he has a number of books, leads a number of centers, and is interviewed here and there. His translations are cited; his essays appear in a number of books from publishers unaffiliated with him. (Searched Google Books for Swami Swahananda).

Could anyone offer help on the best way to reference books etc? It seems so messy to put "ref" within angle brackets, then give the ref, then again a /ref. It makes the editing very hard to do, with all those refs stuck in-between. Isn't there some better way? Devadaru (talk) 16:43, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Another reference[edit]

An excellent reference on Swami Swahananda's early life and family: Ashit Chandra Chakrabarty, A Few Pearls of our Family Necklace (Kolkata: Ashit Chandra Chakrabarty, 2003). The author is related to the swami; he has self-published the book, and the book has no ISBN. Hardcover, 80 pages, with additional appendices of family genealogical charts.
