Untitled[edit]

Hi there - someone took out my link to the Star Trek: Voyager episode Cold Fire from this page. I personally think it's valid - for ages I could remember that there was a Voyager episode with a "Suspiria" in it, but couldn't remember which one. came to Wikipedia knowing that I would get a link to the film of the same name, but assumed the disambiguation page would contain the information. It did not, so I added it and now someone's taken it off again. I reckon it's a valid use of the page. Having just checked - I note that I'm not the first person to make this entry. I'm gonna put it on again. Speednik 14:10, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disambig pages are not for listing all possible uses of a term, they're for disambiguating articles with titles that might be ambiguous. There is no article for the band or for the Star Trek creature, and it's very unlikely there ever will be one (the creature appears in only 1 episode of 1 series), so there is no risk of that. If you wanted to search for one of those, there is the search button or perhaps the directory function (Special:Allpages). You could also check a Star Trek-specific wiki for the information.--Cúchullain t/c 22:10, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I COULD do that. But I shouldn't have to - it's not an oversubscribed page, nor do I propose a vast drain of resources, just one line and a couple of links. Still - you're the boss, probably. Speednik 13:34, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I'm no one's boss. I just have an idea of what disambiguation pages are meant to be for, based on the the disambig guideline. Other than that I'm just another volunteer here.--Cúchullain t/c 22:15, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
