Resplit[edit]

Please read WP:FORK before attempting to hold another discussion on this subject. At present, there isn't nearly enough unique content in the article on the impacts to warrant a split into another "Impacts of Storm Filomena in Spain" article. This article is very small at present, and it is nowhere near the readable prose limit. Unless it gets there, an article split should not even be considered. The mentioned example (Katrina) clearly exceeds the readable prose limit if the impacts are all added to the main article, while this is not the case here. And the consensus to merge the two articles was very strong. Any attempts to force another split would be against Wikipedia policy. The article merger was properly performed. Closing this now. I agree with User:Asqueladd this article has to be resplit regarding the Madrid snowstorm. It was the largest snowfall in Madrid for over a century. There is enough material in Madrid for an article 5 times as long as the one discussing effects elsewhere. There is also precedent on Wikipedia with Hurricane Katrina and Effects of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. I think User:MarioJump83 you have been hasty in merging these two articles.
