Hello I believe that wikipedia should have a page on Stonehouse Brick and Tile company for many reasons:-

1) Very little appears to have been written about the history of brickmaking in the Stroud and Stonehouse area in Gloucestershire and this will be lost history if we do not record it.

2) The company was a major influence on Brick and Tile making in the late 1800's and early 1900's right up to 1965.

3) Many grand buildings were built from this brick (of the likes we shall never see again) including the English tower in Buenes Aires Argentina and St philips church Swindon Wiltshire. Other notable buildings built from this brick:- Cheltenham Ladies College - Boarding House (1896-98). Worcester St George's Church, St George's Square. (Architect Sir Aston Webb R.A.) 1893-5. The Presbyterian Church. Clarence Street School. Euclid Street School Additions to the Technical Schools. Market Buildings. Westbury on TrymNew Didsbury College. Aylesbury Secondary Modern School. High Wycombe College of Further Education. MarlboroughCollege (100,000 bricks) in 1909. ExeterUniversity College. Bangor University College of North Wales. War Office buildings (Bulford and Barracks at Tidworth on Salisbury Plain - 6 million bricks). Railway work "large quantities" for the Great Western Railway and Midland and South Western Junction Companies. Overseas South Africa Cape Town Post Office (now demolished). GibraltarEmbellishment of the Officers' Quarters. (Carried by the SS Lusitania on a trial trip).

3) The 202 foot high Chimney was a local land mark in the area for around 75 years and was a big event the day it was knocked down.

4) My account is only the start of the story and it is hoped that further information may come to light to fill in at least some of the significant gaps.

5) The Stonehouse Brick and Tile company site was, of course, only one of several that operated in the area and it is hoped their history will also be researched and recorded in the future.

6) This is part of our great industrial Heritage and I beleive it will be a great shame if it is not recorded. Please undo your delete!

I have created a temp page with the copyvios removed (parts of the lede were also a copyvio of both the source cited in the copyvio tag and this source, but have been removed). I can't disagree that this ought to be merged in the state that it is in currently, but I do think that with some work that it could be expanded into a respectable article.
