Location[edit]

The article says that he currently lives in Vancouver, with no source. This seems doubtful because:

  • Tiny Speck still seems to exist (even though Glitch was shuttered) and Tiny Speck's sparse website says little more than that it's located in San Francisco.
  • Catarina Fake lives in San Francisco and they have a daughter together.

With no source to back Vancouver, and his company and his ex-wife (and potentially daughter) living in San Francisco, I think that should be re-examined.

Yeah, his flickr profile says he currently lives in San Francisco. Fixed the article.

Birth name[edit]

According to the article "Email Killer" in Time Magazine, November 9, 2015, pages 30-33, "At 12, he legally changed his given name, Dharma Jeremy, to Stewart" (page 32, last line of first full paragraph). The Wikipedia article currently says "born Daniel Stewart Butterfield". Which of these is correct? Timothy Cooper (talk) 07:11, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rec.music.phish[edit]

I don't know how to check when a usenet group started, but given that usenet itself started in 1980 and the band Phish wasn't even formed until 1983, I think the claim that rec.music.phish was one of the first usenet newsgroups is suspect. Jkonrath (talk) 17:28, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
