Addition on true alternating squint -- I will follow it up soon![edit]

Hi all,

I made an addition about true alternating squint (those born with the squint), as binocular vision is never possible for these people. This is different to those who are taught/learn to alternate from infancy upwards: they can be taught to achieve fusion of images, which creates binocular vision. This training is done once the angle of squint is reduced and/or any "lazy eye" issues are resolved. However, as stated on the page in plainer language, the binocularity training causes true alternators to lose their suppression scotoma and develop diplopia, which is often irreversible.

I have peer reviewed studies showing all of this. However can't access them for a while. But I will return to cite and create links etc soon. Leah Fevvers (talk) 02:06, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
