The Australian database 'My Pioneer Ancestors' states that Stella Bowen died from breast and liver cancer, not colon cancer. I'm wondering about the Wikipedia reference stating that she died of colon cancer. The same database, discussing Stella's daughter Julia, states Ford and Stella separated in 1928. This might make more sense, since in 1927, there was an American edition of The Good Soldier printed with an effusive printed dedication to Stella. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chumpoll (talk • contribs) 20:35, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Chumpoll! This source is certainly better than the unsourced assertion the article had about colon cancer, so I've edited the article to say "breast and liver cancer", and cited the source you mentioned.
