Hi AnneGartner, and thank you for the suggestion. I am declining this edit request for two reasons. First, the claim that your hospital network is the largest in Australia needs to supported by an independent source. I can't just take your organization's word for it. Second, labeling a hospital network the "largest" is vague and ambiguous. St John could be the largest by hospital beds, by expenditures, or by number of doctors; but the point is, Wikipedia articles should avoid using vaguely positive terms when more specific descriptions would do better.Altamel (talk) 19:32, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notability and status[edit]

This hospital is 120 years old, over 700 beds and has a lengthy history in the Subiaco community, and as far as the history of the srticle over 10 years or so, has clearly enough for notability. JarrahTree 03:59, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@JarrahTree:neither the age of the hospital or the number of beds is relevant towards its notability. What counts are sources, and this article has very few that are not published by the hospital itself. I don't think it is notable but I will happily give you some time to improve the article with independent sourcing before I nominate it for deletion or simply replace the redirect, which was the appropriate thing here.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 04:56, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly it is notable - just because recent editors add promotional crap does not remove the context within the community - as for weighing it against sources , your revert lacked discussion of any sort and I consider that poor choice where there is a community of editors that have played with it for ten years.
