Merge proposal[edit]

I propose that Saint Michael's Catholic Academy be merged into St. Michael's Catholic Academy.

They are obviously the same subject.
The merge should go from that article to this article because the abbreviation "St." in this article's title is consistent with the spelling the school itself uses.[1]

Alternatively, as this article has little history, it might be possible to arrange so that the other article's history is moved to this article. Either way, the other article could have a REDIRECT to this article. —Danorton (talk) 05:35, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think an admin can do it. It requires complete deletion of the target page, which only an admin can do. Non-admins can request it, but that takes several steps possibly over several days—this kind of change needs to happen all at once. —Danorton (talk) 15:18, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I looked into it and the Help:Merging and moving pages suggested to do the merge leaving a redirect from the page moved. I think I completed it successfully, but it can always be undone. Evolutionist79 (talk) 03:45, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

St. Gabriel's Catholic School[edit]

There is a middle/elementary school called St. Gabriel's Catholic School (SGCS) right next to St. Michael's and recently they have merged together into one school (PK3-12th).
