Proposed deletion[edit]

I have proposed that this article should be deleted. The topic is not even vaguely notable. It is something of a catchphrase in the Norwegian language, and might be appropriate for the Norwegian-language versions of Wiktionary, but certainly not the English-language Wikipedia. The fact that the phrase has been used publicly on a couple of occasions does not change that - or should all the colloquial catchphrases of all the languages of the world have their own article in the English-language Wikipedia? --Anderssl (talk) 12:55, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you, to some extent, but the info in the article is notable, and might be merged into Norwegian language conflict. What do you think ? Mentoz86 (talk) 09:19, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I find it strange that anyone could consider this notable - and I have a background in filology. But I'd agree that a merge is a fair solution if there is no consensus to delete. --Anderssl (talk) 14:32, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that it should be deleted. --Oddeivind (talk) 11:27, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I tend to disagree. There aren't really things that are only notable in limited geographic areas; notability is conferred by coverage in reliable sources, and this article seems to have them. There's enough here that it probably couldn't be merged into Nynorsk without giving undue weight, or losing information that's now here; in that article this would seem trivial. I can't think of any other merger candidates, except maybe Norwegian language struggle. - Smerdis of Tlön - killing the human spirit since 2003! 20:09, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would say it is not notable in any wikipedia. --Oddeivind (talk) 11:28, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that this topic doesn't warrant an article. I also agree that if (some of) the content is to be used, it can be added to Norwegian language struggle. This article needs to be deleted. --Hordaland (talk) 02:35, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And that is still my opinion! --Hordaland (talk) 02:43, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Burning of Nynorsk[edit]

Well, he burned one copy. Not the Nynorsk ordliste as such.--Eivindgh (talk) 00:17, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
